i realize there are issues with being able to see some of my images fully…. so i will be uploading the images to a photo hosting site instead of directly to wordpress, so that the images on my blog can be smaller and clicked if wished to be seen larger.

that is all. oh, well make sure to check out the 2 posts below this one.

ALSO, added a new link to the list over to the left side.
check out my friend Pat’s doodle blog! “vinyl&type” :D

as fellow illustrators have expressed… color can be quite a road bump when working on a piece. i know a lot of people who stick to only black and white or very limited color pallettes because they FEAR color. haha. so i thought i would share the website:

kuler.adobe.com

the link is also posted to the left, in my link list.

ENJOY! and you’re welcome.

so the other day in my editorial illustration class, ivan had us to do an excercise. two blind contour drawings of our hand on the same paper… we rotated the paper 180degrees after the first drawing. afterwards we were told to find a part of the drawing that resembled a face, and we took that part and built onto it. my result is below :D the square of manila paper is obviously from the contour hand drawing.
